Yes. The box is built from rigid board rather than thin card, so the doors close cleanly and it holds its shape. Most families put the figurines back in, fold it flat, and bring the whole thing out again the following December.
The figurines themselves are solid resin with a sealed hand-painted finish — they're keepsakes, not throwaways.
